Mental health emergencies can be addressed in multiple ways, depending on the situation. Please choose the most appropriate option if you or someone you know is having a mental health crisis.

  • For life threatening emergencies, call the office of Campus Safety at 864-597-4911.
  • For immediate support any time, call the Wofford Mental Health Assistance Line at 864-597-4393. A mental health counselor is available 24/7 to assist with any situation.
  • Make an appointment with a counseling services staff member.
  • During business hours, call the Wellness Center at 864-597-4370 to see if a counseling services staff member is available to assist.

Rape Crisis

SAFE Homes/Rape Crisis Coalition of Spartanburg is an off-campus resource that provides confidential services for assault survivors. Services include crisis intervention; advocacy throughout medical, police interviews and legal proceedings; and individual counseling. Individual and group therapy is provided on a sliding scale fee basis.
