Alumni Association Board Responsibilities
As a reflection of the alumni body, the board provides the college with insights into alumni sentiment on various issues concerning the college. The work of the board is primarily engagement and advisory, not policy-making or governance.
To ensure representation across all decades, the board must include two members per 1,000 living alumni in each of the last five decades, as well as two per 1,000 living alumni in the 50-Year Club. The remaining board members will be selected to ensure that the board adequately reflects the race, gender, ethnicity and geographic distribution of the alumni body.
The above are general guidelines. We seek alumni who will bring diverse ideas and perspectives to the AAB in order to best serve the broad and ever-changing needs of the Wofford alumni community.
