Merit-based scholarships in music are available for vocalists and instrumentalists regardless of the student’s program of study. The scholarships range from $500 to $2,500 and are renewable on a yearly basis. Specific audition requirements are outlined below.
Vocal scholarships are available to singers who participate in the choral ensembles at Wofford. For the audition, students will be asked to perform two contrasting vocal selections that showcase their range and ability. At least one classical or musical theatre selection is preferred but not required. Please also prepare a one-page resume of your musical training and experience (e.g. private instruction, choral ensembles, musical productions, honors and awards).
Interested students have the option to audition in person, virtually over Zoom or by submitting a video. To schedule an audition or for more information, contact Dr. Aaron Harp, director of choral and vocal studies, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Please include in your email a brief (5-7 minute) video and a one-page resume of your musical experience to include: how long played, private instructions, if any; ensemble experience, repertoire overview. The 5-7 minute video should include two contrasting pieces of your choice without accompaniment.
