Wofford College faculty, staff and students use Skedda software to schedule college rooms for co-curricular purposes and to reserve campus spaces. Classrooms for academic classes are scheduled through the registrar’s office and cannot be reserved through Skedda.

Members of the faculty, staff and student body who want to book a space for a Wofford-affiliated event on behalf of an official college department or a chartered student organizations may sign into Skedda at wofford.skedda.com/booking to identify and request a space.

Skedda is the only supported means for reserving Wofford spaces, and it is the reservation system of record. In the event of an apparent scheduling conflict, the record in Skedda will determine the correct booking.

Some college rooms and specific spaces have booking restrictions. Spaces on campus that require a special booking request are listed in Skedda with the contact person or persons’ email address(es). Members of the faculty, staff and student body who want to book these rooms and spaces must submit a request to the director of campus events at events@wofford.edu for approval. The director of campus events has the final authority to manage all college rooms and spaces for internal and external events.

Non-affiliated persons or faculty/staff/students wishing to reserve a space for personal events must email events@wofford.edu with their request.

Event planning and expectations

  • Cleanup: The individual/group booking the space is responsible for cleaning up at the end of a meeting or event. All trash (e.g., leftover food, plates, bottles, cups, utensils, table decorations, etc.) should be disposed of in available trash and recycling bins. Tables and chairs should be cleaned and wiped. Spills should be blotted. If the event produces a large amount of trash, complete a maintenance request for removal (found at myWofford). Leave the room as you found it (or better).
  • Room configuration: Tables and chairs may be reconfigured for an event, but they must be reset at the end of the meeting or event. Please handle furniture with care. If you need facilities support, please complete a work order (found at myWofford). Please turn off lights at the end of the event.
  • Audio/visual equipment: Users seeking Information Technology Services’ assistance with ITS equipment delivery, pickup or setup are responsible for submitting an IT help ticket at helprequest.wofford.edu. Any fees associated with special equipment needs will be the responsibility of the department or organization requesting the equipment.
  • Catering services: It is the user’s responsibility to contact AVI Culinary Services to order food service, delivery and pickup.
  • Important reminder: Reserving space at Wofford affects staff across campus. Allowing appropriate time and managing promotions, audio visual requests, security, catering and cleanup will make your event more successful. Failure to do so puts an unfair burden on others and could result in a loss of space reservation priviledges.
