A team of faculty advises and guides interested students toward meeting the expectations and requirements of medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, optometry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nurse practitioner and physician assistant school. Wofford’s rigorous liberal arts curriculum, with a variety of opportunities like study abroad and January Interim clinical internships, prepares students to apply to these schools.
Holland Anderson was a pre-medicine student who graduated with a B.S in biology and a B.A. in Spanish. She took advantage of the college’s global and community opportunities by spending a semester abroad in Chile and holding leadership positions in Wofford’s student-led clubs and organizations. She is currently a medical student at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Grayson Bateman is a first-generation college graduate who earned his degree in biology with a pre-pharmacy focus. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in pharmacy at Mercer University in Atlanta. Bateman works as a pharmacy intern at CVS and plans to complete a residency following his graduation in May 2028.
