SPARTANBURG, S.C. - For the third time in the past five seasons, the Wofford men's basketball team will be playing tonight (Monday, March 10) for a Southern Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth!
Coach Young and the Terriers need to see you in Asheville TONIGHT! Tip-off is at 9 p.m. at the US Cellular Center in downtown Asheville, N.C.
We want to FILL the stands with Wofford Terrier fans!
GENERAL PUBLIC tickets may be purchased at the US Cellular Center Box Office. All tickets are $22.
WOFFORD SEASON TICKET HOLDERS: If you have purchased tickets to either of the first two SoCon Tourney games, the Wofford Athletic Ticket Office will automatically be renewing your seats!
WOFFORD STUDENTS: Several buses will depart the fountain at Campus Drive for the game at 7 p.m. COST is $5 for your game ticket and transportation! First come first serve!
UPDATE FOR ALL WOFFORD STUDENTS:EVERY student with a valid Wofford ID who can get to the US Cellular Center may purchase a ticket for $5 at the PLAYER PASS TABLE located inside the lobby of the arena. So, students who miss the bus or must drive on their own for other reasons can purchase a $5 ticket to the game at the arena, thanks to a generous and anonymous donor.
WOFFORD FACULTY/STAFF: There also will be a faculty/staff bus, with seats for approximately 50 people. The charge will be $5 for a ticket. The bus also will leave at 7 p.m. from the fountain. Faculty and staff wishing to go should contact Elizabeth Fields in the Campus Ministry Office at fieldsem@wofford.edu or 597-4050. Spouses and guests also are invited.
ALL FANS are invited and encouraged to see the team off from the hotel tonight. The gathering will begin in the hotel lobby of the Renaissance in Asheville (31 Woodfin Road) at 6:15 p.m. The team will leave promptly at 7:15 p.m. to go to the arena. A cash bar will be available (for those 21 and older). The Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of the US Cellular Center, so park as you would for the game. Remember you can purchase your tickets at the US Cellular Center, and the game starts at 9 p.m. Come cheer on the Terriers to a Southern Conference Championship win for the third time in five years!! GO TERRIERS!!!!!
