Seminar alumni

Students in this seminar are engaged in inspiring work that allows them to build diverse skill sets in community-based work. Their work is transformative – they make impacts on the community and are also transformed through this engagement process themselves. Two alums of the Sustainability Seminar have been selected for one of Wofford College’s highest honors: Presidential International Scholar. Both Presidential International Scholars – Kendall Weaver ’21 and Paola Cruz ’23 – have discussed how their sustainability-based work in Spartanburg has provided them with skills, knowledge and passion for their research abroad.
