NPHC Intake Information

Wofford Recruitment/Intake Policy
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life operates under a deferred recruitment model. A student must successfully complete at least one semester of college before being eligible for recruitment and/or the intake process. Any student wishing to join an organization must be a regularly enrolled, full-time student in good standing with Wofford College.

In order to become a member of an organization, students must have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA and must not be on academic probation or academic exclusion.

NPHC Interest Form
Wofford College is actively working to reestablish our two fraternities with active charters and looking to expand our NPHC community by chartering an NPHC sorority on campus. If you are a student interested in joining an NPHC organization, please complete the NPHC Interest Form so that the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life can work directly with you to help reestablish NPHC on campus.

National Panhellenic Council (NPHC) Intake
Both of our chartered NPHC fraternities on campus, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. are open for membership. In order for students to become members of these organizations, they must complete the new member application process which usually takes place each January. Both organizations have a strict 2.5 minimum GPA requirement and have minimum credit hour requirements for potential new members (18-30 credit hours depending on the organization). Connecting with the advisor of the organization as well as expressing your interest via the form above are the best ways to receive information about any formal interest meetings and the official application process.
