How to Register

First-year students entering in the Fall should follow these three steps for a successful registration:

  1. Complete and submit your  Class Schedule Plan through myWofford for advisor approval by  July 19.
  2. Register for a maximum of  FIVE credit hours between  July 30 and 31.
  3. Register for your remaining courses between  August 1 and 2

The details of completing your Class Schedule Plan are outlined in the  Gold Guide. The Interactive Course Schedule will help you search for courses.

You will need to review your foreign language placement on the FYI tab of myWofford (above the student checklist) in order to select the appropriate foreign language course.

You should plan to register for LIBA 101, FYI 101, a foreign language course and two electives, one of which may be a science course depending on your intended major.

Once your Class Schedule Plan is submitted, it will be reviewed and when approved, your advising hold will be released. If there are issues, you will be contacted through your Wofford email prior to the release of your advising hold.

After registration in July, advisors will review your schedule for errors or omissions (courses, number of hours, etc.).

The add/drop period will open after you arrive on campus. You will be able to make changes to your schedule through the first week of class.

Please be aware, if you do not submit a course registration plan, your advising hold will NOT be released, and you will not be permitted to register.
