The Wofford men’s basketball team won the Southern Conference regular season and tournament titles to advance to the second-round opener of the NCAA tournament against the University of Arkansas. The Terriers lost a heartbreaker, 56-53, to the Razorbacks, but made Terriers across the country proud with their performance. The successful season also meant a variety of individual accolades:

  • The Southern Conference named Karl Cochran ’15 the league’s Player of the Year and Head Coach Mike Young as the Coach of the Year. It was Young’s third Coach of the Year honor in six years. Making the 10-member all-conference team were Cochran and Lee Skinner ’15. Skinner also was named the SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
  • Cochran received honorable mention on the Associated Press's 2014-15 All-America team. Cochran became the second Terrier in history to be recognized in the AP’s All-America selections. Noah Dalhman ’10 was the first. In addition, Cochran was named a finalist for the Lou Henson Award.
  • The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its NABC Division I All-District teams and UPS All-District coaches for 2014-15. Young was named the All-District 22 coach, while Cochran and Skinner were named First Team and Second Team All-District, respectively.
