As the most fundamental of sciences, physics deals with energy in all its forms, with the interactions of matter and energy, with the structure of matter and with energy-transforming processes at the most fundamental and general level.
Allyson Gibson ’03 is now a graduate student in physics at Washington University in St. Louis. Her current work at the laboratory for ultrasonics led to a master’s degree in physics in 2005 and will be the basis for a PhD thesis.
