  • Bonner Scholars

    The Bonner Scholarship provides deserving students with financial access to a Wofford education while providing them with the opportunities, resources and skills to serve humanity. Wofford Bonner Scholars volunteer at least ten hours each week during the school year and 280 hours over each of at least two summers.

    How Do I Become a Bonner?

    Becoming a Bonner Scholar requires a separate application that should be completed in addition to the application for admission. Students must demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to community service.

    In the fall of 1990, the Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Foundation began recognizing students who demonstrated the ability to succeed both in the classroom and in the communities beyond those classrooms.
