Apply

You have two options when applying to Wofford online. Please complete either the Wofford Online Application OR the Common Application. You DO NOT need to complete both. 

Option I:
Wofford Online Application

Step 1: Submit the Wofford Online Application for Admission: Part 1 The Wofford application is two parts. After you submit Part 1 you may continue to Part 2.

Step 2: Submit the Wofford Online Application for Admission: Part 2 If you choose not to submit the entire application at one time, you may complete Part 2 at a later date.

Step 3: Have your high school guidance counselor submit the High School Report Form and an official copy of your transcript.You will have the option to email the High School Report Form to your guidance counselor when you complete the application for admission. Your high school guidance counselor should either submit the form online OR download, complete, and fax/mail the form to Wofford College.

Step 4: Submit your SAT or ACT scores. Scores are considered official if they are sent directly from the testing service or appear on your high school transcript.



Option II:
Common Application 

Wofford also accepts the Common Application. The Common Application is reviewed with the same consideration as other online or paper applications. You do NOT need to complete both. 

Step 1: Submit the Common Application 

Step 2: Submit the Common Application Supplement (this is available as you fill out the Common Application)

Step 3: Have your high school guidance counselor submit the High School Report Form and an official copy of your transcript. You will have the option to email the High School Report Form to your guidance counselor when you complete the application for admission. Your high school guidance counselor should either submit the form online OR download, complete, and fax/mail the form to Wofford College.

If your high school guidance counselor has already submitted the Wofford High School Report Form, it is NOT necessary to submit the Common Application Secondary School Report Form.

Step 4: Submit your SAT or ACT scores. Scores are considered official if they are sent directly from the testing service or appear on your high school transcript.


Early Decision*

Your completed application is due by November 15; decisions are mailed December 5. *Note: The Early Decision option is recommended for students who know Wofford is a top college choice. Students who apply early may apply to other colleges. Students accepted for the Early Decision deadline must notify Wofford by February 1 of their intention to enroll by paying a $300 non-refundable deposit and by withdrawing all applications for admission to other colleges. Students who choose not to make a commitment at this time may request that their applications be reconsidered for the regular application deadline.

Regular Decision Completed application due by February 1, decisions are mailed March 15.
