The link to log into the proxy system is: https://connect.wofford.edu/proxylogin.  If you have been prompted to log into a Microsoft site, you are likely attempting to log into myWofford, not the proxy system.

The proxy system does NOT work on a mobile device such as an iPhone, iPad or Android device. So, be sure to use a laptop, desktop or other non-mobile device.

Many corporate computers/networks block the use of the proxy system. We recommend using both a personal email account, such as a Gmail account, and accessing the proxy system from home, on a personal computer.

PIN resets require the use of a one-time use link. Email systems, especially those from Microsoft, commonly scan links in emails for virus protection. This virus scanning uses the one-time use link and will prevent you from being able to reset your proxy system PIN.

For example, if you click on the one-time use link provided in the proxy PIN reset email and are forwarded to a page that only asks for your email address and PIN, the one-time use of the link was used.  If you click on the one-time use link provided in the proxy PIN reset email and are forwarded to a page that requests your email address, the old PIN (provided in the PIN reset email), a new PIN and the new PIN again for confirmation then the one-time use link has not been used and should be able to access the system.

While it is not required that you use a Gmail email address with the proxy system, Gmail users often have the best experience with the system.

Yes, access the Proxy Login Page (http://connect.wofford.edu/proxylogin), enter your email address, and click the "Forgot PIN" button. When you receive your new PIN reset email, please make sure to access the link from a home computer. We also suggest that you copy the "Old PIN" from the new PIN reset email and paste it into the "Old PIN" box to prevent any "0" and "O" confusion.

Only your student can create, update or remove proxy access. No Wofford employee is able to affect your proxy account – only your Wofford student. In order to get access or update your access, you will need to contact your student. They are the only ones able to make those changes.

You can email proxyaccess@wofford.edu and one of our Help Desk members will respond to your question as soon as possible.
