Wofford Together

The health and safety of Wofford College’s campus community is the college’s top priority.

The college is continuing to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic by following recommendations based on best practices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American College of Health Association (ACHA) and local healthcare experts.

Beginning Feb. 21, 2022, masks will be optional in campus buildings except in classrooms and labs or as directed by faculty, staff or students in confined spaces, private offices or residence hall rooms. Masks will continue to be worn in medical spaces, including the Wellness Center and athletics training facilities. People who are unvaccinated are encouraged to wear masks, and people who are completing their isolation or quarantine from COVID-19 exposure are required to wear masks as recommended by the CDC.

Students, faculty and staff are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Those seeking an exemption for religious or medical reasons must seek approval from the campus Wellness Center. The college is requiring COVID-19 booster shots for all students, faculty and staff, unless previously exempted. Proof of a booster shot must be uploaded to the Wellness Center’s patient portal by Sunday, April 10, 2022.

It is important that all members of the campus community continue exhibiting patience and a commitment to self-monitoring for symptoms.

Contact the Wofford Wellness Center at covid@wofford.edu if you are not feeling well or suspect that you have been around someone with COVID-19.
