"Since I was a young girl, I've loved Disney," says Kulsoom Haq. "I've been to Disney World nearly a dozen times. Any time I'm feeling down, I pop in a Disney movie and everything feels all right again."

Kulsoom wanted to share her love of Disney with local Spartanburg children, especially those for whom a trip to the Florida theme park may not be possible due to financial disadvantages. Kulsoom rounded up a group of willing Wofford friends to dress as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast). Kulsoom dressed as Jasmine (from the movie Aladdin). The princesses brought games, pizza, cupcakes, hugs and smiles to students at two local elementary schools on three afternoons in April.

The children's smiles tell the rest of the story (view the video at right). Kulsoom hopes to expand the program during her remaining time at Wofford.
