The Wofford College club lacrosse provides players of all experience levels an opportunity to enjoy the great game of lacrosse. The club is led by a team of highly experienced coaches. Head coach Charlie Marshall is a graduate and former player from Princeton. Jeff Troyer, a former lacrosse coach at Irmo High School serves as Assistant Coach.
There is a short “low key” fall program during September and October, and a regular season program including a 4 to 6 game schedule running from February to April.
The team normally holds 1 to 2 scrimmage type night practices per week with games on Sunday afternoon. There are no player fees to participate, and Wofford College will provide helmets, goalie gear, game uniforms, pads, and gloves, which will be turned back in to Wofford College at the end of the year to those players needing equipment. All players must provide their own sticks and athletic shoes. Wofford College will also provide transportation to all away lacrosse games.
