The Reeves Tennis Center

The John E. Reeves Tennis Center is the home of the Wofford College men’s and women’s tennis programs. The facility was named for Reeves, former chairman and CEO of Reeves Brothers Inc. textiles and a member of the Wofford College Board of Trustees from 1974 through 1979. He served on the board’s finance and co-educational study committees. Under his leadership, the Reeves Foundation was established to support a variety of charitable causes.

Reeves Tennis Center

The tennis center has 11 championship quality courts. It contains locker rooms and a multipurpose room that enters onto a large viewing deck overlooking the courts. Located on Evins Street beside the senior village apartments, the Reeves Tennis Center opened in 1992. The courts were completely rebuilt in 2015 and a scoreboard was added.

Coaches Krissy Hall and Rod Ray have done an excellent job of fielding teams of student-athletes who represent the college well on the court, in the classroom and in the community.
