NPR tells story of long-lost Wofford class ring

Tuesday, July 03, 2007

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – William Anderson lost his class of 1934 Wofford ring in battle during World War II.  His son Marshall, also a Wofford alumnus, heard the story from his father through the years.
In 2005, not long after his father's death, Marshall Anderson learned that the ring had been found.

His story recently was told on National Public Radio (NPR).
