Wednesday, January 25, 2006

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College has begun posting podcasts to its Web site (www.wofford.edu) for listening and downloading audio recordings of campus programs and events.

Two podcasts have been posted on the site, ready for listening or downloading, with new additions planned each week.

The “Wofford Intro” podcast features music by professors Eun-Sun Lee and Jhon Akers, plus interviews with students, alumni, faculty and President Benjamin B. Dunlap. It offers perspectives from around the Wofford community as well as a glimpse of what will follow with future podcasts.

Another podcast includes highlights from remarks by U.S. Congressman James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the featured speaker at Wofford’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration on Jan. 16. Also included are interviews with Dunlap and Doug Jones, the first African-American graduate of Wofford.

You may listen to Wofford podcasts directly from the Web site through your Web browser at www.wofford.edu/interactive/podcasts.asp or by subscribing to our podcast feed via iTunes or other similar software. To find Wofford podcasts in iTunes, type “Wofford” in the search bar. You then may subscribe to any Wofford podcast.
