Where to Find Us


Participate in eight-week, interactive courses and one-time workshops or events year-round as a Lifelong Learning member. A membership with Lifelong Learning at Wofford allows participants to register for courses, events, workshops, and lectures during the year. Courses cover a wide range of topics, including history, religion, science, cooking, literature, writing, pop culture, physical fitness and current events. Members may sign up for Lifelong Learning classes, attend events at Wofford College, spend time at the Wofford College library, eat in the student dining areas, and enjoy exclusive events and travel opportunities. Each member will also be given one voucher to bring a non-member to one class session. A yearly membership is $50 per person. Individual courses typically cost $40 each, and some class scholarships are available on a needs-based scale. Events, workshops and lectures vary in cost.

Our Advisory Committee

Lifelong Learning at Wofford is directed by the college and the director with the assistance of a Lifelong Learning Advisory Committee. The Committee is made up of Lifelong Learning representatives that work in the interest of the program to develop course material, promote and market the program in the community, and strategically grow the program with members and support. Where to find us

Lifelong Learning at Wofford is primarily located in downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina. Classes, events, workshops and lectures are held both on campus at Wofford College and in the Education Building at Central United Methodist Church.
