Each year on Homecoming Weekend, we celebrate 10 classes during their reunion year. This year we are celebrating the classes that end with ’00 and ’05. The focus of the reunion program is to return, reconnect and remember your times while at Wofford College.
Reunion committees are the backbone of these landmark celebrations and make the weekend happen. They take the lead on building attendance and generating enthusiasm during their milestone year. A successful class reunion is achieved by:
- Engaging and reconnecting alumni with their classmates and the college both throughout the planning process and implementation of Reunion Weekend.
- Encouraging alumni to return to campus to reminisce about their time as a student as well as to learn about the Wofford of today.
- Educating alumni through intentional programming, highlighting college leadership, current and retired faculty and peers.
- Provide an opportunity to re-evaluate their philanthropic relationship with Wofford College and to strengthen their commitment through the Reunion Gift.
