Third-Party Access

To help protect student privacy, Wofford requires students to keep their myWofford username and password confidential. However, we recognize that parents, guardians, and other trusted individuals often need access to a student's information. Workday's Third-Party Access lets a student grant a trusted person permission to view selected information without sharing their own login credentials.

The student controls who is granted third-party access and exactly which items that person can view. Granting access authorizes that person to view the selected pages as if they were the student, and the student can change or revoke these permissions at any time.

Third-party access does not authorize the third-party user to contact or discuss student information with a College representative. For that, the student must separately grant the individual FERPA access.

Only the student can set up third-party access. Wofford faculty and staff are not able to grant these permissions on a student's behalf.
