Room and board
If a student withdraws completely from either summer term within the first two weeks of the term, charges for that term’s room and board will be prorated by the Business Office according to length of the residence. After the first two weeks of the term, there will be no refund on room and board.
June 2 and July 7 are the last days to add/drop a course in the first and second summer terms, respectively. No exceptions will be made to this policy. These dates are also the last dates by which to drop a course with no financial penalty or transcript notation. Thereafter, grades of WP or WF will be assigned, depending on the quality of the student’s work in the course. These courses and grades will be noted on the student’s transcript. Students wishing to withdraw from a course after the add/drop deadline have until 5 p.m. on the last day of class. For Summer I this date is Tuesday, June 30, and for Summer II it is Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Wofford students repeating courses, whether previously failed or passed, must request a repeat override from the Registrar’s Office. Requests may be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, ID number and the subject and number of the course to be repeated. Students can repeat a maximum of four courses during their Wofford careers.
Students expecting to complete all degree requirements during either summer session, who have not applied to graduate, must visit the Registrar's Office prior to the end of the add/drop period in order to do so.
Cancellation of courses
The college reserves the right to cancel any course when the enrollment is insufficient.
