The name of your advisor can be located by clicking on the DegreeWorks tab in your myWofford student account.
Students can also contact the Office of Academic Advising for general advising questions: advising@wofford.edu
Students wanting to exit a course after the add/drop period may do so by completing the Course Withdrawal Form available on myWofford. Withdrawing from a course can have significant consequences on degree progress, full-time student status and even financial aid and scholarship eligibility including that of student-athletes and veteran’s benefits recipients. With regard to degree progress, students should always seek advice from their instructors and advisers when considering withdrawing from a course. For financial aid and scholarship concerns, students should contact the Financial Aid Office.
There is a withdrawal deadline each semester. If a student withdraws before that deadline, they will have a W on their transcript, which will not affect their GPA, but may affect degree progress. If they withdraw after that deadline, they will earn an F in that class.
Prior to registration each semester, students are assigned a registration time and an advising hold. The registration time, or time-ticket, is the assigned day and time when the registration system will open for the student. The advising hold can only be removed by the general education or major advisor. The registration time ticket, advising hold (or any other hold), any overrides that have been granted.
You can find this information in the College Catalog.
