Students can simply register for the ensemble they would like to join. Since an audition is required for Wofford Singers and Instrumental Chamber Music, please contact the director to set up an audition time.

Yes, all students are welcome to join Wofford’s ensembles regardless of their program of study.

Yes. Taking four semesters of an ensemble satisfies the fine arts general education requirement.

There are limited merit-based music scholarships available, based on an audition, for vocalists and instrumentalists regardless of their program of study. To maintain the scholarship, students must be enrolled and in good standing in an ensemble each semester. Additional information can be found on the scholarships page or by contacting the director of your area of interest.

Montgomery Music Building has practice rooms available to Wofford students during normal building hours. Students in private lessons may request after-hours building access from their instructor.

There are pianos available in Montgomery Music Building and a limited number of band instruments for student use as needed.
