The Emphasis in Information Management is for students who are majoring in a business field. Coursework and an internship experience will afford these students a solid grasp of information management subject areas, particularly in the capture, digitization, representation, organization, transformation and presentation of information; algorithms for efficient and effective access and updating of stored information, data modeling and abstraction and physical file storage techniques.
