Business Economics

Economics and business economics students study theoretical principles, develop analytical and mathematical skills and sharpen their ability to think, communicate and solve problems. Market processes and institutions are examined, and students gain an understanding of how governmental policies and laws impact economic activity.

Meet Dr. Timothy Terrell

Terrell writes on environmental and health care economics and has testified in Washington on environmental regulation. He and student Maureen Buff co-authored a paper for the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons. A graduate of Auburn University’s doctoral program, he teaches in the Ludwig von Mises Institute’s Austrian economics program.
