SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Former Clemson University economist Dr. Bruce Yandle will speak on “Three-Legged Chickens, Creativity and Eureka Moments” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Leonard Auditorium in Main Building on Wofford College’s campus.

Yandle, dean emeritus at Clemson’s College of Business and Behavioral Science and Alumni Distinguished Professor of Economics Emeritus, is a distinguished adjunct professor of economics at the Mercatus Center, a faculty member with George Mason University’s Capitol Hill Campus and a senior fellow with the Property and Environment Research Center. He has served as executive director of the Federal Trade Commission and as senior economist on the President’s Council on Wage and Price Stability.

He has authored several books on environmental economics and regulation.

Yandle received his MBA and Ph.D. from Georgia State University.

Funding for the project was provided by the Institute for Humane Studies through a grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
