Welcome Back to Campus! 

We are thrilled to have a new electronic health record management system (EHR) that we will be using beginning this week. As a result, any existing appointments you had in Appointments Plus were transferred to Medicat, our new system.   

New Patient Portal System (Schedule, Review Records, Send Secure Messages)

What this means for you is that you can access your Medicat patient portal directly from myWofford. This system will allow you to schedule appointments for Medical, Counseling or Accessibility Services. You will have access to a confidential portal where you can access your immunization records, medical records, statements and appointments. You may also send secure messages to your providers.

Now when you check in for your appointments, you will use the check-in kiosks. Kiosks are located downstairs for Medical Services and also upstairs for Counseling and Accessibility Services.  

If you have an appointment with Dean Wallace you will use the kiosks downstairs. 

For Medical Services appointments, use the kiosk in the downstairs waiting area . The system will let you know if there are any forms required for you to fill out. Once any required forms are completed, you will be marked “arrived.”  Have a seat in the waiting room until you are called back. 

For Counseling and Accessibility Services check-in, you may now come directly upstairs to the new and improved waiting area. You may use the laptop to check in for your appointment. There will be doorbells marked with the provider’s initial on the table, once you have checked in on the laptop, please press the button for the therapist that you are there to see.  

Be sure to click next after confirming the appointment time you are scheduled for.  You will have completely checked in after you return to the home screen.

First Time Counseling Appointment

If this is your first time seeing one of the counselors for an appointment, you will need to complete the intake paperwork. To do that you will need to log in to your portal and you should be prompted that there are forms waiting for you to complete. If you do not complete the forms before arriving for your appointment, you will need to complete them at the Check-In Kiosk. We advise against it, as the forms require several minutes to complete. You may not want to fill it out while others are waiting to check in.   



We hope that these changes will be good ones for us all, but realize that the transition to a new system can be a bumpy one.
