With work experience on 4 continents, Nate Harceg looks at the world a little differently. A 2011 graduate of Wofford College, Nate studied Intercultural Studies for Business and had the opportunity to spend three semesters abroad, studying business in France, China, and Uganda.
After his graduation from Wofford, he moved to Chicago, Illinois to begin a career in sales with Field Fastener, a global leader in industrial fastener distribution. Constantly innovating and improving, Nate recognized a need for increased marketing efforts within the organization and led the initiative to re-launch the Field brand. In doing so, he found a true passion for marketing and in February 2013, relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas and began working with Walmart Stores Inc., as Assistant Marketing Manager responsible for the New England business unit. In that role, Nate oversaw weekly television commercial shoots throughout the Northeast and managed the marketing efforts for store grand openings in the region.
In November 2013, Nate accepted a promotion to Walmart’s Brand Strategy team, helping the organization live its mission of saving customers money, every day, so that they can live better lives. He is currently engaged on a pricing project, designed to disrupt the retail industry and change consumer purchasing habits throughout the world. Nate also leads Walmart Marketing’s summer intern program.
When not working, Nate volunteers his time and talents with organizations around the world.
