Who Should Participate?

The Institute is open to Wofford freshman, sophomores and juniors of all majors.

Students studying art history and English have as much to gain from the program as students majoring in accounting or business. Employers want to hire graduates who can think critically, research information and problem-solve: exactly what you're learning at Wofford, no matter what you're majoring in. Hiring managers also want to see that you've applied your knowledge in a real-world setting before graduation and that you have the professional skills to make an immediate contribution to their business, practice or non-profit.

We created The Institute to give students of all majors in-depth professional skills development in a real-world setting, all in just four weeks!

NOTE: You don't have to be a Wofford student to attend The Institute! Current Wofford students will be given priority during registration; however, students from other colleges and universities may register based on space availability.
