Speaking Opportunities
Speaking at student events is a great way to soft recruit on campus. If you have achieved career success and have experiences to share that may benefit current Wofford students in their search for a career path, consider volunteering to be a speaker at one of several student-oriented Career Services or Center for Professional Excellence events.
Speaking time ranges from 15-20 minutes to an hour, depending on the event. Audience will vary from students only to a mix of students and Wofford employees.
Speakers are needed for the following events:
Career Luncheons and Dinners |
Several speakers are needed for each event. You should be willing to discuss your work in a particular field (business, economics, accounting, finance, English, law, etc.) and answer questions from students about your career path and the outlook for your profession. |

Executive Speaker Series |
One speaker per event. We're looking for speakers who are recognized and accomplished leaders in their fields. Discussion topics are your choice but should address professional development and leadership issues. A Q&A session will follow. |

Sophomore Experience |
Career leaders are needed to speak to students about the keys to professional success. |
