The dress, the hair and makeup, the tux, the corsage. For most high school students, prom is a rite of passage they'll never forget. But many children with special needs never get to put on "the" dress or enjoy dancing the night away with friends.

The Joy Prom, a Christian-based, volunteer-supported evening just for children with disabilities, is an idea that's catching on around the country. Callie Taylor '14 and Emily Groce '15, brought Joy Prom to Wofford on March 1, with stunning results.
