The staff of the Success Initiative are often heard saying, "academics come first; SI comes second."  Members are required to devote 9 hours weekly to the program, but these hours must not be allowed to overshadow coursework.  We take great pride in our members' academic achievements.  75% of our members were named to the Dean's List for spring term, 2009.  In addition, 3 were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, four were given spots in Blue Key Honors Society, and several others received college awards.  Also, 2 SIers have been Sullivan Award recipients (2007 and 2009).  Success happens with hard work and perseverance, and these students have shown both in their studies.  For a complete list of SI award winners, click here.
