Admission to the Program
Admission criteria for the Success Initiative includes academic performance as well as unique talents, interests and experiences. Student candidates are asked to describe in a one-page statement their unique talents, interests, or experiences that have profoundly affected their view of the world.

mong our students are a competitive female four-wheeler; a varsity athlete, a leading actress; a family breadwinner; an MVP lacrosse player; a writer; Wofford's Presidential International Scholar; a dancer; a classically trained opera singer; a photographer; an entrepreneur; a black belt in Kung Fu; and a first generation college student.
Current student members are demographically and intellectually diverse. They are natives of Argentina, Bosnia, Mexico, Panama, India, Hong Kong, and Zimbabwe, and of states from across the U.S., including Texas, New York, California, Michigan and Louisiana. They have selected majors across the academic curriculum.
Any student accepted to Wofford College may apply to the Success Initiative. Current Wofford freshmen or sophomores also may inquire about membership by contacting current student members or any of the professional staff of the Success Initiative.
