What does SI mean to you?

As an artistic, independent, and self-expressive student on Wofford's campus, SI has helped me to realize my greatest potential and to accomplish many of my professional and career-oriented goals without forcing me to give up my unconventional ways. Because of SI, my time management skills have improved greatly, and my span for knowledge, imagination, and creation in my projects each year have increased. I appreciate being a part of SI because it allows me to see my visions for my projects manifest themselves and, consequently, I am able to make real-life impacts on the community, myself, and others. In particular, helping teach first-graders with deficiencies how to read and achieve their academic goals this year has changed my life as much as it has changed the children's, I'm sure -- and this would not have been possible without SI's unfailing support and program structure.
