Micah 6

Statement of Purpose: Bonner Foundation’s Micah 6 Connection is to give support and guidance to Wofford College for developing partnerships with local congregations, which engage students in social justice, service, and spiritual enrichment. A team of students and advisors work in partnership with a local congregation, to plan and implement a program for service and social justice in the community.Students and advisors in the Micah 6 Connection participate in a program of spiritual reflection on their call and commitment to service and social justice.

Regular Meeting Times:We fulfill our statement of purpose by volunteering twice weekly at Lone Oak Elementary School as tutors to low income kindergarten to second grade students. We also hold a community dinner for these students and their parents at the end of each semester.
