Wofford Recyclers Community Bike Program

Wofford College is pleased to announce that it has purchased a number of bicycles for the enjoyment of Wofford students, faculty, and staff.  It is our hope that the campus bicycles will promote healthy living, make travel across campus faster, and make travel into the Spartanburg community more environmentally friendly than driving a car.  The bicycles, which are identifiable by the fact that they are green beach cruisers, will be placed around campus at various bicycle racks.

While we encourage all members of the Wofford community to use the bicycles to ride into the community and around campus, we ask that you return and lock the bike to a rack at the end of your ride so that others may also use it.  Please remember that the bikes belong to the entire Wofford community, and therefore may not be reserved.

In the case that there is a problem with any of the bicycles or if you notice that a bike is being used improperly, please contract Campus Safety at 864-591-4351.

Remember to ride safely:  wear a helmet, travel in the same direction as traffic, obey traffic signals, and be alert at all times.
