Disease Awareness Week
Disease Awareness Week is an event that is designed to help educate students to the wide range of diseases that affect people all over the world. It takes place during the week in which December 1st, AIDS awareness day, is held.  HIV/AIDS awareness is highlighted during this week, but we will also look at all diseases including STDs and viruses all over the world. This event will be held is also sponsored by Health Services.

Angel Tree Project
The Department of Social Services provides Twin Towers with a list of children in our community who need sponsoring in order to have a happy and fruitful Christmas. Student organizations, facutly, and staff of Wofford College sponsor children for this worthy cause. After presents are collected from each sponsoring group, Twin Towers transports these goods to DSS so that they are delivered in time for the holiday season.

Terrier Play Day
A celebration of youth and service at Wofford College, Terrier Play Day is a carnival for 300-400 children from social service agencies around the Spartanburg community. Student groups and organizations set up booths to provide a day of fun for the children. Lunch is served at noon followed by several hours of activities including an air-bounce; electric swing ride; and dunk tanks to name a few. This carnival is fun for the kids and fosters a sense of community among the Wofford students as we celebrate on the front lawn of Main Building.

Halloween Carnival
Twin Tower’s Halloween Carnival is an annual event held on Wofford’s campus for local community children. The motivation behind this event is to provide a safe and enjoyable Halloween experience for children that live in relatively unstable neighborhood environments. The Boys and Girls Club, Spartanburg Housing Authority, and Bethlehem Center are among the groups invited. Organizations on campus ranging from fraternities to religious groups are invited to operate a Carnival booth. Wofford students arrive in all manner of crazy costumes to interact with the kids.
