Terrier Play Day

What is Terrier Play Day?
Terrier Play Day: a celebration of youth and service at Wofford College was held on April 26, 2008. It continues to be a strong partnership between Wofford and the Spartanburg community.  Approximately 250 children from local non-profit agencies as well as children of Wofford's faculty and staff joined Twin Towers and a variety of student organizations in a spring festival for children of all ages.

Wofford students serve at many different non-profit agencies in the Spartanburg community, and the following agencies particpated in this year's Terrier Play Day:
-- Boys and Girls Clubs of the Upstate
-- ARCH Program, Arcadia, SC
-- Spartanburg Children’s Shelter

Terrier Play Day both honors and celebrates Wofford College’s commitment to the Spartanburg community. The day is supported by Wofford’s Service Learning Center and the Twin Towers student service organization.
