Terrier Play Day ShirtWofford students serve at soup kitchens and homeless shelters. They tutor at local schools and work at St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic. They sponsor events like the Angel Tree Project and help with campus and community beautification like Adopt-A-Highway programs.

The Service Learning Center is dedicated to fostering an environment where students, staff, and faculty have the opportunity to be involved in outreach on campus and in the Spartanburg community. We will work to create an ethic of servant-leadership that pervades the culture of the campus in hopes that Wofford will be a place dedicated to transforming itself, its community, and the world in which we live.

Instead of taking the traditional fall break trip with friends or relaxing in front of the TV, some Wofford students decided to take part in an "Alternative Break Experience" - two full days of work on Habitat for Humanity houses in Spartanburg. The Service Learning Center provided food, and students reflected their experiences and socialized with each other. For more details, check out the Soundslides and Video on TerrierLink!
