The Archives maintains an index of obituaries that have appeared in the conference newspaper, the Southern Christian Advocate, since its inception in 1837, and in its successor newspaper, the South Carolina United Methodist Advocate.

Please contact stonerp@wofford.edu for information about obtaining an obituary. In your message, please include the name, date, page, and column information from the index for each obituary you are requesting.

You will also need to include a postal mailing address as we are unable to send obituaries by e-mail.
