Exhibition Title: Wofford's Desegregation Decade: The Liberal Arts and Diversity
Opening Reception: Thursday, February 12; 4-6pm (soft opening on February 7)
Exhibition Dates: February 12 - March 28

College archivist, Dr. Philip Stone, and Dean of the Library, Mr. Oakley Coburn, will curate an exhibit of images and letters the college received in response to the decision to desegregate. The exhibit is part of a series of Re:Thinking Education events that examine Wofford's desegregation decade and pose the question, "why should a liberal arts college care about diversity?" Other events include a public talk by Spelman College President, Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, and a roundtable discussion featuring students, administrators, and Spartanburg residents who lived through Wofford's desegregation decade.

Location: Chapman Gallery, Campus Life Building
