If you are applying to be an RA for the first time, please answer the following questions:
A- Define community and what it means at Wofford.
B- According to the RA Job Description, an RA is expected to build a sense of community throughout their hall, residence hall, and campus. Describe a program that you think would meet this requirement.
C- Describe a situation when you worked as a member of a team. What was your role?
D- List your top three housing preferences, giving specific reasons why you would be an asset to that community.*
E- Why do you think it is important for RAs to make strong ethical decisions and be positive role models? Describe an opportunity for an RA to be a positive role model and/or an opportunity when an RA must make a difficult ethical decision?
If you are a returning RA, please answer the following questions:

* Please keep in mind that while your preferences will be considered
during the selection process, the Residence Life staff will make the
final decision based on what is best for you and the residential
community.
Applicants must have two reference forms on file: one from a
Wofford faculty, staff, or RA staff member, and one from a person of
your choice who knows your skills and is not related to you. These
electronic reference forms are due by Monday, February 13 at 12:00 PM.
