Career Highlights
A human resources specialist with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Koger-Thomas also is trained in Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt facilitation. The former executive director of a non-profit organization is a board member of the Huntsville/Madison County American Heart Association and the county Volunteer Center. She is a graduate of Huntsville/Madison County Leadership-Connect and was named 1997 Volunteer of the Year by the Metro Spartanburg Boys and Girls Club in South Carolina.

In January 2008, she was listed as one of Ebony Magazine's "Thirty Rising Leaders Under 30". The list included men and women throughout the United States who have distinguished themselves professionally.

Koger-Thomas majored in government and history while at Wofford. She currently is currently completing her master's degree at Alabama A&M University.
