CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
After graduation, Shannon began her career at the S.C. Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the South Carolina Bar, as the foundation's program associate. In 2004, she was named executive director, the youngest person to hold her position within the national Bar Foundation arena. In addition to her position at the foundation, Shannon continues to perform and direct at Columbia's historic Town Theatre. Her most popular production have been "Always...Patsy Cline" (in the role of Patsy) and the state's community theatre debut of Disney's "Beauty adn the Beast," which she directed adn choreographed.
Shannon fills a national leadership role iin the Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts (IOLTA) community, was named as one of the top 20 emerging leaders under 40 by The State newspaper in 2008 and serves on the boards for City Year Columbia and the Trinity Learning Center.
