Senior Circuit...Brandon Grigg

bgrigg200Brandon Grigg grew up just north of the Wofford campus, in Boiling Springs, S.C. There were two major reasons he decided to stay close to home for his higher education.

“I chose Wofford because of its prestigious reputation in both the education and business worlds,” he says.

Grigg is an accounting major, and has been since his freshman year. It has helped him plan a well-defined future upon graduation from Wofford in a couple of months. He will be working for McAbee, Talbert, Halliday & Co., a local CPA firm, and he will continue to lead the music ministry at Eastside Baptist Church.

Music is one of his favorite hobbies, and he has participated in the Wofford Singers. In addition, Grigg was a resident advisor at Wofford his sophomore year.

He says his best memories involve the friends he made at Wofford, but also the professors he met here.

“My best memories are of my professors’ willingness not only to help me with educational things, but also occupation decisions,” says Grigg. “Their counsel has been wonderful. In addition to their compassion, the great friends I've made here have made my time here an even more rewarding experience. Those lifelong ties to such great friends will always be attributable to my days at Wofford.”
