Absentee Ballot Information

In all presidential preference primaries, primary elections, and general elections, voters may vote by absentee ballot.

To request an absentee ballot, contact your county Voter Registration Office. The absentee ballot application can be mailed or faxed and must be correctly completed before you can receive an official absentee ballot. You may have your county office fax your absentee ballot application to the public public office. Our fax number is (864) 597-4219.

Absentee ballots must be back in the county election office by the day of the election to be counted. Students may request absentee ballots for all elections they are entitled to vote in if they will be in college at the time of the election.

If you desire help in obtaining an absentee ballot, please call us at ext. 4184.
