Move in Made Easy
Move-in day for
first year students
is
Wednesday, August 29th from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Move-in day for
Transfer students
is
Friday, August 31st from 8:30 a.m.- 11 a.m.
It is CRITICAL that you label ALL of your boxes, crates, furniture, and personal items with your name, residence hall, and room number!
This is the number one way to prevent losing your stuff during move-in, and a little bit of masking tape will go a long way!
You must check in at the
Campus Life Building
, which is located on Evins Street!
No cars will be allowed to turn onto Campus Drive without a color-coded room sign in the dash, so you cannot go to your residence hall until checking in.
When you check in,
staff will give you a color-coded sign to put on your dash indicating your residence hall assignment
. It is important that you follow the directions that are given to you when you check in.
There are corresponding bright color signs that you will follow once you leave the Campus Life Building, so follow the colors and directions for your specific residence hall and room assignment.
There will be four separate move-in routes and stations that are divided up by residence halls and room numbers.
Your stuff will be moved to your room by the teams of move-in day experts, so we ask that the driver of the vehicle remain with the vehicle so that it can quickly be moved to the designated parking.
